About the Project
It is difficult for novice entrepreneurs to obtain a bank loan. Regardless of how innovative their ideas are – without funds they cannot be developed. Only few are lucky enough to have their own funds for developing their activities. Technological potential of companies which have not yet been established is great.
The project titled ”Capital for Energy” (Innovation Capital for Energy Conservation) is the answer to this situation. Its purpose is to establish and support a dozen or more new enterprises conducting their activities based on innovative ideas, particularly in the area of energy conservation in buildings. Providing capital for investments and partners for cooperation will be a practical help.
Consultancy services will also be provided concerning the initiation of business activities, proper company management, access to technologies and experts, and global markets. Moreover, newly-established companies will be able to use infrastructure essential for further development.
The Project started in December 2008. It is coordinated by Euro-Centrum Park Naukowo-Technologiczny, which is a part of Grupa Euro-Centrum (www.euro-centrum.com.pl), which, in turn, concentrates on the development of energy-saving technologies and energy conservation in buildings.
The Project is co-financed by the European Union within the European Regional Development Fund; it is a part of the Operational Program Innovative Economy 2007-2013 Priority Axis 3: Capital for innovation, Measure 3.1: Initiating of innovative activity.
